When We Were Young
Our Parade Commander
Passing Out Parade is the annual event of the Armed Forces Apprentice Trade School. The school was formed in 1968. The second batch (1969-1972) did pass out in April 1972. Radin Shahrom Radin Enong was our parade commander. Later he joined the Pre-Officer Cadet Training Unit at Sebatang Karah Camp, Port Dickson, and subsequently the Royal Military College and was commissioned as an officer in the Reconaissance Corps (well known as RECCE before its name was changed to KOR ARMOR DIRAJA). He served for 10 years. He resides in Kuching now. Radin can be contacted at 019-8824582.
